Recreation & Activities An Active Model of Care
What does well-being mean to you? How do you achieve it?
At Active Caregiving, we believe that well-being is deserved and attainable at any stage in life. Not only does living well involve nutrition, a comfortable environment, and daily routines, but it should also include enjoyable and meaningful leisure activities, exercise, and even fresh air!
The activities that are right for each person will be as unique as the individual themselves! We help you or your loved one achieve a rich sense of well-being through our Active Model of Care. This is a comprehensive approach that involves the Active Caregiver and Care Team "actively" exploring their client's holistic needs (spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual, and mental) and considering how they can offer support in those areas. We accomplish this through conversation with you and your loved one, noting their environment, their interests, goals, and most importantly, through building a genuine relationship.
