Interim Federal Health Program Welcome Home
Every individual in our community deserves and receives the same level of high-quality care. Active Caregiving is a registered Interim Federal Health Provider through Medavie Blue Cross. Individuals who are recipients of the Interim Federal Health Program may be eligible to receive Active Caregiving’s services at a subsidized rate.
How Does It Work?
The individual must have a Refugee Status in Canada, and must be a recipient of the Interim Federal Health Program while they await their Ontario Health Insurance Plan. If you are presently a recipient of the Interim Federal Health Program and qualify for Nursing Services (visit by a homecare worker), please contact our "New Client Line" (226) 646-7281 Extension 1.

We're here to support our clients. We submit all registration forms and claims directly to insurance on your behalf. All documents are kept secured and confidential. Your Local Health Integration Network Case Manager will also submit a request on your behalf.
